Who can see an osteopath?
In short, any body can visit an osteopath. No GP referral is required. Osteopaths are Allied Health Professionals (like physiotherapists and podiatrists).
Patients include younger and older people, manual workers, office professionals, pregnant women, children and athletes (from newbies to amateurs and weekend warriors to professionals). Patients seek treatment for a wide variety of conditions, including back pain, changes to posture in pregnancy, postural problems caused by driving or work strain, the pain of arthritis and minor sports injuries.
If you have any questions about whether osteopathy is right for you, please call 07716 038778 for a chat.
